Classes

Move To Be Well offers a variety of classes that will challenge you and keep you interested. Each class will be tailored for the participants so you never feel like you are being left behind. You will be encouraged to step outside your comfort zone and challenge your limiting beliefs in a safe, supportive way.

Most classes will incorporate some or all of the 4 types of exercise - strength, cardio, flexibility and balance.

Your individual sessions will focus on your goals - challenging you each and every session.

You will be coached on how to move safely if you have any injuries and limitations but only after consultation with your treating health professionals.

Our aim is to provide a space where you can be yourself, have fun in a small group environment while becoming stronger, fitter and healthier.

We do not promise quick fixes but encourage you to think about your fitness and health as a life-time commitment.

STRETCH

You have been sitting all morning and still have a full load of work to complete this afternoon. To ensure a productive afternoon it is time to stretch out those tight muscles !

RECOVERY

A chance to de-stress and wind down. Recovery is just as important as the work-out and proper recovery will improve your performance. Stretching flows, gentle movement and breathing will reset your nervous system.

CARDIO

We need to regularly get our heart rate up and breathe harder. This type of exercise can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure, and may even lower the risk of cancer

STRENGTH

Resistance Exercise is a proven way to build strength in both your muscles and bones. Both body weight and weighted exercises will be used to challenge you and slowly build strength.

COACHING

Many of us know what we what we want to change but lack the confidence in our ability to master the change. We will work with you to realise your health and wellness goals, whatever they may be.

BALANCE

Balance exercises improve your ability to control and stabilize your body's position. Being able to maintain your centre of gravity can help you avoid injury from unexpected falls.
